Article: Not all baby food is created equal.

Not all baby food is created equal.

Some baby foods use lower grade ingredients and have a high percentage of filler fruits. This helps them keep costs down, but also reduces the nutritional value and flavour profile of the meal.

JUCA uses only ethical and premium quality ingredients in our meals, which are produced in small batches. We source proteins that have been humanely raised and we use healthy fats such as premium quality extra virgin olive oil and hemp seed oil.

Discover the richness of our ingredients:

Our WILD CAUGHT SALMON + SWEETCORN + NATIVE AUSTRALIAN BUSH BASIL meal is rich in DHA (an omega-3 fatty acid) which is known to play a vital role in supporting healthy brain development - building neural connections, improving memory, and enhancing cognitive abilities.

The beef broth in our 12 HOUR BEEF BROTH, ROASTED VEGETABLES, OLIVE OIL + AUSTRALIAN NATIVE BUSH TOMATO meal is a rich source of minerals, collagen, gelatin and amino assets with the broth made from bones simmered for 12 hours, which contain an array of essential minerals such as calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, and potassium. The meal is rounded out with an antioxidant-rich medley of roasted vegetables and olive oil that is not only a healthy fat which promotes heart-health but also enhances the flavour of the meal.

Our ANCIENT GRAINS + KALE + HEMP SEED OIL + AUSTRALIAN NATIVE THYME meal is a nutritional powerhouse. With nutritionally dense ancient grains containing a variety of amino acids, antioxidant-rich leafy green vegetable kale and healthy fat cold pressed hemp seed oil is an excellent source of essential fatty acids, including omega-3 and omega-6.

Free-range chicken is a high-quality source of protein, which is essential for a baby's growth, tissue repair, and overall development. In our FREE RANGE CHICKEN, COCONUT CREAM, MANGO, BROWN RICE + AUSTRALIAN NATIVE LEMON MYRTLE meal its health benefits are bolstered with coconut cream which provides healthy saturated fats that can contribute to brain development and support the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins. Coconut cream contains MCTs, which are easily digestible fats that provide a quick source of energy. They also support cognitive function and immune health. The inclusion of vitamin-rich mango and antioxidant-rich lemon myrtle enhances the nutritional value of the dish.

Our ROOT VEGETABLES, CHIA, OLIVE OIL + AUSTRALIAN NATIVE THYME meal combines nutrient-rich ingredients that provide a balanced array of vitamins, minerals, healthy fats, and dietary fibre. The root vegetables offer a variety of flavours and textures, introducing diversity to your baby's palate and helping them develop a preference for a wide range of foods. The inclusion of chia provides plant-based omega-3 fatty acids that are essential for brain and visual development in babies. The use of olive oil and native thyme enhances the nutritional profile and flavour of the meal, while also providing potential antioxidant and antimicrobial benefits.

The grass-fed lamb in our GRASS FED LAMB, ROASTED CARROTS + AUSTRALIAN NATIVE RIVER MINTED PEAS meal is a source of high-quality protein, which is essential for babies' growth, muscle development, and overall health. Roasted carrots are rich in beta-carotene, which the body converts into vitamin A. Vitamin A supports vision, immune function, and skin health in babies.
